Who do you look up to in life? Why? What have they done to help you or guide you?
I look up to my mom. She is an overall good person and is nice to everyone. She knows exactly how to help people with whatever situation comes up. She is hardworking and loving. She has to deal with me and my brothers every day, and I admire her for that. She helps me with everything from small decisions to rather large decisions. She is by far the person I look up to most.

Tell me about the global issue you selected yesterday. Briefly restate your paragraph from yesterday.
The global issue that I have selected is abortion. I selected it because there is a huge controversy on whether or not people should be able to get abortions. I want to find out peoples opinions and views on this issue and why they think the way they do. I'm hoping to gain more information about abortion overall; how it works, why it should and shouldn't be legal.

If you could pick one issue in the world to fix or change what would it be and why?
I would like to change world hunger and shelter. I would want to do that because no one should go without food or water. It seems like a huge issue in a lot of places. Shelter is also a huge problem in many places around the world.

What is a Public Service Announcement? If you don't know what it is, Google it. In your own words, now tell me what it is? What are they used for? Can you recall an example of a PSA you've seen before?
A public service announcement is a presentation of some sort that is used to tell or explain a problem or organization. They are typically just used to inform people about certain things that are going on. For example, in middle school I made a PSA on child abuse. It included what it is, how to help it, and many organizations that are used to help prevent it from happening.

This weekend I went out for my friends birthday. We went to dinner on Friday night. Sunday night I went to the Panic at the Disco concert with a group of friends that was really fun. Monday I didn't feel well, so Monday wasn't fun for me.

What have you learned about Google Drive and Google Presentation so far? What do you like about it? What problems have you run in to? Is it better than PowerPoint? Explain.
I have learned the basics about how to use Google Drive. I've learned how to use it, but haven't gotten into more difficult things on it. I like it because you don't have to save it every now and then, it automatically saves on its own. I also like it because you don't need to have a program, like PowerPoint, in order to use it. It makes it easier to work on projects where ever I am, because all you need is the internet to use it. Problems with the program are that you can't crop pictures. I think overall it's better than PowerPoint, but PowerPoint is a good alternative to use.

Tell me if you agree with this statement and then explain why or why not. "Images on the internet are 'free game' - if someone posted I should be able to use it."
I do not agree with this statement. Images on the internet are not "free game" and you can't just use them anytime that you want to. People post pictures on the internet so that you have the option to use their picture or not, but if you use it they expect you to give them credit for it. You are able to use the image that they post, if you cite your sources and give them the credit they deserve.

What do you want to learn in the class the semester? What information do you want to walk away with that you didn't know before? Elaborate!
This semester I want to learn how to not only use a blog, but how to use one more efficiently. I want to learn how to make one, posts things on it, and just create it how I want it. I want to walk away with the knowledge of how blogs work and just overall more knowledge of what to do with a blog. I want to learn new things on the computer through other programs like Prezi. I want to be able to use more programs better than I could before.
